“Peaceful Protest” — Art Series

Time Magazine on Wednesday, Dec. 6, announced its 2017 person of the year is "The Silence Breakers" who triggered the MeToo campaign and worldwide discussion of the problem of sexual assault and harassment. Inspired by this significant time for women, Burch and two other artists, Eliza Fernand and Ansley Prior, created a "Peaceful Protest" art exhibit. The exhibit described itself as "peaceful, yet powerful artwork fueled by the constant nonconsensual acts of aggression that women face on a daily basis, and in support of the brave women speaking up."
